Atlantis Police Department: 15 EMT-Certified Officers Ensure Lake Worth Community Safety with Modern Policing

The City of Atlantis Police Department, established in 1959, continues its dedication to promoting security, safety, and quality services for Lake Worth residents. The department operates with 15 full-time sworn officers, supported by dispatchers and additional staff, ensuring a consistent presence in the community.

A cornerstone of the department's approach is community-oriented policing. This strategy integrates advanced technology, including E-911 and emergency notification systems, to enhance response times and communication during critical incidents. Patrol vehicles are also equipped with video recording and body cameras, providing transparency and accountability in daily operations.

Beyond traditional law enforcement duties, many Atlantis police officers serve as certified EMTs. These officers carry essential medical supplies in their vehicles, allowing them to provide immediate medical assistance at emergency scenes. This dual capability ensures a rapid and comprehensive response to various community needs, from traffic incidents to medical emergencies.

The department's long-standing presence, dating back to its establishment in 1959, reflects a continuous effort to adapt and evolve with the community's needs. This commitment to modern policing, combined with a focus on community engagement and emergency medical response, defines the Atlantis Police Department's role in Lake Worth.
