Hypoluxo residents interested in serving on the Town Council have a defined window to submit their candidacy for the March 2026 General Municipal Election.

The qualifying period begins at noon on Monday, Dec. 1, 2025, and concludes at noon on Tuesday, Dec. 9, 2025. Individuals seeking one of the three open council seats must qualify by presenting themselves to the Town Clerk.

The election, scheduled for Tuesday, March 10, 2026, will fill three Town Council positions, each for a three-year term. A runoff election, if necessary, is slated for Tuesday, March 24, 2026.

Registered voters in Hypoluxo's precincts 3401 and 3402 will cast ballots at Hypoluxo Town Hall, 7580 S. Federal Highway.

Aspiring candidates must pay a $78 filing fee. The deadline for voters to register or update their registration for the election is Tuesday, Feb. 9, 2026, by 5 p.m.
