Tavares residents should pay utility bills promptly to ensure uninterrupted service. The city offers several payment options.

Residents can pay online through a designated link or by calling the 24-hour automated payment line at 352-508-4034. For inquiries about utility billing, new accounts, or account management, call 352-742-6400.

Customers can sign up for bill reminders via a provided link. First-time users must register with their email address and utility bill account number. A confirmation email will finalize the registration.

Payments submitted after 2 p.m. EST will be credited the next business day. For emergency water turn-on or turn-off services after 5 p.m., call 352-253-4229. An after-hours charge applies to this service.
