Sonesta Drive Closed for New Key Biscayne Library Construction

Key Biscayne drivers will encounter weekday closures on Sonesta Drive as Miami-Dade County Public Library System begins construction on a new facility. The road will be closed to through traffic between Crandon Boulevard and Gulf Road from February 23 to February 27, between 7 a.m. and 6 p.m. daily.

The Miami-Dade County Public Library System is undertaking the project to enhance community resources. Drivers should follow posted detour signs and exercise caution in the area. Construction crews will clear the zone at the end of each workday to allow for local traffic.
