Florida Power & Light (FPL) introduced a new online Assistance Center to help Key Biscayne residents find support for energy bills and efficiency programs. The center consolidates resources into a single platform.

The center offers bill payment support, energy-saving initiatives, federal aid program information, and connections to local nonprofits. FPL Saving Steps, a new program, helps eligible customers reduce energy consumption.

Customers who successfully implement FPL Saving Steps strategies can earn a $200 bill credit. FPL uses the ALICE income criteria to determine eligibility, encouraging those facing financial challenges, even if they don't qualify for government aid, to explore the program.
