Adopting a final millage rate for the fiscal year commencing October 1, 2026 through September 30, 2027. Ordinance approving and adopting the final budget for the City for fiscal year 2026-2027 commencing October 1, 2026 and ending September 30, 2027. CONSIDERATION OF THE BUSINESS CONTAINED IN THE CALL FOR SPECIAL MEETING A. Resolution 2026-113 Adopting a final millage rate for the fiscal year commencing October 1, 2026 through September 30, 2027 (Sharon Haynes, Director of Financial Services, [email protected] or 954-535-2818)This is a resolution which establishes and adopts a final operating millage rate to fund Fiscal Year 2026-2027 operations and a second and separate millage rate to fund voter approved debt service obligations for Fiscal Year 2026-2027. Advertising for this public hearing appeared in the Sun-Sentinel on Sunday, September 20, 2026. B. Ordinance 2026-007 Approving and adopting the final budget of the City of Lauderdale Lakes for Fiscal Year 2026-2027, commencing October 1, 2026 and ending September 30, 2027; Appropriating funds for the operation of government of the City of Lauderdale Lakes for Fiscal Year 2026-2027 (Sharon Haynes, Director of Financial Services, [email protected] or 954-535-2818)This is an ordinance which provides for the adoption of funding to certain appropriation centers consistent with the City Manager's proposed Fiscal Year 2026-2027 Budget and subsequent modifications. The budget has been reduced from $113,280,079 (All Funds) as presented on first reading to $100,958,401 (All Funds) for adoption on second reading. Advertising for this public hearing appeared on the Truth-in-Millage (TRIM) Notice mailed to all property owners and Sun-Sentinel newspaper. CONSIDERATION OF OTHER MATTERS BY UNANIMOUS CONSENT ADJOURNMENT PLEASE TURN OFF ALL CELL PHONES DURING THE MEETING If a person decides to appeal any decision made by the Board, Agency, or Commission with respect to any matter considered at such meeting or hearing, he or she will need a record of the proceedings, and that, for such purpose, he or she may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which record includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based.
