Keene Airport Closes Taxiways Through May for Reconstruction
Keene Dillant-Hopkins Airport will close portions of three taxiways through May 22 as crews rebuild pavement that has reached the end of its design life.
Construction runs through June 5. Work includes demolition, drainage installation, grading, paving, and turf restoration on taxiways A, A3, and T.
Taxiway T and the T-Hangar Ramp close through May 22. Taxiway A between Runway 14/32 and Taxiway A3 closes May 1 through May 22. Beginning May 12, crews will close Runway 14/32 as needed through May 22 to work in its safety area.
The airport will issue notices to airmen (NOTAMs) and provide status updates. Crews successfully completed work on Taxiway A and Taxiway C this week, with Taxiway A3 and the section of Taxiway A between taxiways A2 and A3 reopening as of 5 p.m. today.
