A Wind Advisory has been issued for Western Millard and Juab Counties, Eastern Juab/Millard Counties, Sevier Valley, Southwest Utah, Upper Sevier River Valleys, and Bryce Canyon Country. The National Weather Service (NWS) in Salt Lake City, UT, advises residents to secure loose objects and prepare for difficult driving conditions.

South winds are expected to reach 20 to 30 mph, with gusts up to 50 to 55 mph. This advisory is effective immediately, beginning October 10 at 3:35 PM MDT, and will remain in effect until Monday, October 12 at 6:00 AM MDT.

Gusty winds may blow around unsecured objects, and isolated power outages are possible. Residents should fasten loose objects or move them to a safe location before the strong winds begin. Driving may be particularly challenging for high-profile vehicles and those with trailers. Drivers in the affected areas are urged to use extra caution.

Monitor the latest forecasts and warnings from the National Weather Service for any updates.
