Poetic Nectar Book Swap Features Local Author Crissy Florio in Oct

Jupiter residents can attend the October Poetic Nectar Book Swap Social, a free community event, at Hobe Sound Social & Coffee. This month's gathering will honor Breast Cancer Awareness Month by featuring local Treasure Coast author and breast cancer survivor Crissy Florio.

Florio will lead a 10 a.m. conversation titled “Growing Through What You Go Through & Acceptance.” Following her talk, attendees can meet Florio, get books signed, and participate in the book swap. Guests should bring a finished book to exchange for a new one.

The event also includes local vendors and coffee. The gathering runs Saturday, October 3, from 9:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. Poetic Nectar hosts the event in partnership with Hobe Sound Social & Coffee.
