An ancient pine tree that, judging by the size of the trunk, must be several centuries old. Unlike other trees of its type in the area (including the one in the background to the left of the trunk), it has a corkscrew branch pattern and seems to not have a single dominant leader above about twenty feet up. The tree, which sits next to my parents' house, has a very odd form, and is unlike any other I have seen. It has a triangular treehouse platform and rope swing supported by its branches, both
