MURPHYSBORO, IL — Jackson County Clerk Frank Beaman announced that a public accuracy test for the automatic tabulating equipment will be conducted in preparation for the General Primary Election. The test is scheduled for March 14, 2024, at 1:30 P.M.

The accuracy test will take place in the office of the County Clerk, located within the Jackson County Courthouse in Murphysboro, Illinois. This test is a standard procedure to ensure the voting machines are functioning correctly and will accurately count ballots cast in the upcoming election.
