City of Carbondale announces yard waste collection changes

The City of Carbondale has updated its yard waste collection program, requiring residents to use specific disposal methods effective immediately. Residents must now use only biodegradable paper bags or clearly marked waste containers for all yard waste disposal.

This change aims to streamline the collection process and ensure compliance with new environmental guidelines. The city is encouraging all households to familiarize themselves with these updated requirements to avoid any disruption in service.

Further details on approved container types and collection schedules can be found on the City of Carbondale's official website.
