She is a former diplomat and holds a degree in Foreign Service from George Washington University and a degree in law from University of Pennsylvania. Pam will be discussing her newest novel, Code Name Sapphire, a compelling story set during World War II. It tells the story of a friendship between two women who are forced to make impossible choices. In German-occupied Poland, a young Jewish woman is forced to flee when her family is rounded up.
