Hollywood Boulevard Closes June 27 for World Cup Watch Party

Hollywood Boulevard will close to traffic from US 1 to 21st Avenue starting at 7 a.m. Friday, June 27, for a free World Cup watch party hosted by the City of Hollywood. The street will reopen at 3 a.m. June 28.

The city will show England vs. Panama at 5 p.m. and Colombia vs. Portugal at 7:30 p.m. Local bands Los Wizzards and AleMor perform at 9:30 p.m. Food trucks and live music continue through the night.

Downtown businesses should adjust deliveries and staff schedules. Parking costs $10 flat from 3 p.m. to 2 a.m. at University Station Garage (2031 Polk Street), Radius Garage (251 North 19th Avenue), and Van Buren Garage (251 South 20th Avenue).
