
Pasco County Offices Closed Monday for Staff Development
Pasco County government offices, libraries and Animal Services facilities will close Monday, Oct. 12, 2026, for Staff Development Day. Parks and beaches will remain open, and GoPasco public transportation will operate on its regular schedule.

Pasco County government offices will close Monday, Oct. 12, 2026, for a mandatory Staff Development Day. All Board of County Commissioners (BCC) offices will reopen Tuesday, Oct. 13, 2026.
County parks and beaches, including Anclote River Park and Robert J. Strickland Memorial Park, will remain open daily from dawn to dusk. However, Pasco County Parks, Recreation, and Natural Resources offices, recreation complex buildings and community centers will be closed.
GoPasco, the county's public transportation service, will continue its regular fixed-route and demand-response services. GoPasco administrative offices will be closed.
All Pasco County Libraries will also close Monday, Oct. 12, 2026.
Pasco County Animal Services administration, the adoption center, intake/reclaim shelter and field services will be closed. An Animal Control Officer will be available for emergency calls only.
The Pasco County Resource Recovery Facility, West Pasco Class III and the East Pasco Transfer Station will be closed to the public. These facilities will remain open for Pasco County licensed commercial haulers.
