Arnold Schwarzenegger is Santa in New Amazon Prime Film

Holiday residents can expect a different kind of Christmas cheer this year as action star Arnold Schwarzenegger takes on the iconic role of Santa Claus in the upcoming Amazon Prime film, “The Man with the Bag.” The movie is set to premiere on Prime Video on December 2.

Schwarzenegger, known for his roles in blockbuster action films, will be joined by “Reacher” actor Alan Ritchson. This marks Schwarzenegger's return to Christmas cinema, having previously starred in “Jingle All the Way” approximately 30 years ago. In this new film, he is tasked with recovering his own red bag, which has been stolen by a disgruntled elf portrayed by Awkwafina. To retrieve the stolen bag, Schwarzenegger's Santa Claus will assemble a team of skilled misfits from his “Naughty List,” with additional support from other elves and his reindeer.

The film promises a blend of holiday spirit and action as Santa and his crew embark on this mission. A teaser trailer for “The Man with the Bag” has been released, offering a glimpse into the movie’s premise and its unique casting choices. Residents can watch Schwarzenegger’s take on the beloved holiday figure just before the Christmas season fully kicks into gear.
