M. Pamela (Sherry) Creed, age 83, of Swampscott, passed away on Sunday, May 31, 2026 at the Bertram House of Swampscott, surrounded by her family, after a lengthy illness. She was the wife of the lat

M. Pamela (Sherry) Creed, age 83, of Swampscott, passed away on Sunday, May 31, 2026 at the Bertram House of Swampscott, surrounded by her family, after a lengthy illness. She was the wife of the late William Creed. Raised in Swampscott, she was the daughter of the late Philip J. and Marie E. (Miller) Sherry. She was a graduate of Swampscott High School, class of 1960, and received her Associate Degree from Lasell Junior College. She had also lived in Florida from 1972 until 2021.Pamela had worked for Deprima Construction in Florida for several years until her retirement. Her husband William was in the boating business, and they enjoyed yachting in Florida and spending summers on their boat in Barnstable.She will be missed by her brother, Paul A. Sherry of Swampscott; her nieces and nephews, Wendy Sherry of Danvers, Philip Sherry of Lynn, Jennifer Sherry of Swampscott, Angel Melnick of NH, Julia Cowles of NH, Laura Sherry of Marblehead and Sean Sherry of Cape Cod. She also leaves many lifelong friends as well as the Creed children. She was predeceased by her brother, Peter Sherry.Her Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, June 4, 2026 at 10AM in St. John the Evangelist Church, 174 Humphrey St., Swampscott. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Lynn. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited. Visitation will be in the church from 9AM-10AM, prior to the mass. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Bertram House, 565 Humphrey St., Swampscott, MA 01907 or to Care Dimensions, 75 Sylvan St., Suite B-102, Danvers, MA 01923.
