Sign Up to become a VOICE Volunteer! What is VOICE?VOICE is a volunteer program designed to perform a welfare check and to brighten the day for our Georgetown residents who homebound, experiencing reduced mobility or a “shut- in”.What we do?Volunteers make calls to residents on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. If contact with a resident is not made on two consecutive calls, then an officer will be dispatched to make a welfare check.How to Sign Up? To become a VOICE client or to volunteer, call the Georgetown Police Department at (843)545-4375 to speak with the Victim’s Advocate, scan the QR code below, or online at www.gerogetownsc.gov
