Regular City Commission Meeting - Tuesday, October 6th

YOU ARE HEREBY NOTIFIED that the Regular City Commission meeting will be held on Tuesday, October 6, 2026, at 7:00 PM in the City Commission Chambers located at the City Hall Complex, 150 NE 2nd Avenue, Deerfield Beach, Florida. A quorum of the City Commission will be physically present at the meeting, and the City will be utilizing communications media technology with most City staff participating through video conferencing. The October 6, 2026, Regular City Commission meeting will proceed utilizing communications media technology; however, the City Commission Chambers located at the City Hall Complex, 150 NE 2nd Avenue, Deerfield Beach, will be open to the public as an additional method for speakers wishing to speak on items. Pioneer Days Celebrate Deerfield Beach’s Biggest Event of the Year! DATES/TIMES: Friday, February 12 (4:00 PM - 10:00 PM) Saturday, February 13 (10:00 AM–9:00 PM) Location: Main Beach Parking Lot 149 SE 21st Ave. Get ready for an unforgettable Pioneer Days celebration filled with live entertainment, delicious food, arts and crafts vendors, kids’ activities, and plenty of community spirit! The excitement kicks off Friday night from 4:00–10:00 PM with live music, great food, family fun, and entertainment for everyone. The celebration continues Saturday with the famous Pioneer Days Parade at 10:00 AM, followed by a full day of festivities and a spectacular fireworks show at 9:00 PM. Bring your family, friends, and neighbors and join us for one of Deerfield Beach’s favorite traditions! Parade Route and Viewing The parade kicks off at St. Ambrose Catholic School, traveling east along Hillsboro Boulevard before turning north onto A1A. The procession will pass by the Deerfield Beach International Fishing Pier and conclude just south along the beach. After the parade, join us at the beach for the Parade Awards Ceremony, where trophies will be presented to winners in each category, officially kicking off an exciting weekend of entertainment and festivities! Parade Theme TBA Road & Area Closures Pioneer Days Traffic Advisory: Road Closures & Event Weekend Details: The City is excited to welcome residents and visitors to Pioneer Days Weekend, taking place February 12-13, featuring live entertainment, a parade, and community fun at the beach. To safely prepare for this highly attended event, temporary road and parking closures will be in effect throughout the weekend. Residents and visitors are encouraged to plan ahead, allow extra travel time, and follow posted signage and directions from law enforcement and event staff. Road & Area Closures Friday, February 12: Pier Parking Lot NE 2nd Street to NE 21st Avenue (S-Curve) Ocean Way from Hillsboro Boulevard to SE 4th Street Main Beach Parking Lot Parking lot behind Ocean Rescue(All areas closed to vehicular traffic) Saturday, February 13: Pier Parking Lot International Fishing Pier NE 2nd Street to NE 21st Avenue (S-Curve) Ocean Way from Hillsboro Boulevard to SE 4th Street Main Beach Parking Lot Parking lot behind Ocean Rescue Hillsboro Boulevard Bridge will remain in a locked-down position from approximately 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM to accommodate parade traffic These temporary closures are necessary to ensure a safe, enjoyable, and successful Pioneer Days celebration.
