
Haitian National Convicted of Meth Conspiracy in Syracuse
Djosaha Azulphar, 28, a Haitian national residing in the U.S., was found guilty of multiple methamphetamine trafficking charges after a federal jury trial in Syracuse.

Djosaha Azulphar, 28, a lawful permanent resident of the United States, was convicted of drug trafficking charges last week in Syracuse federal court. A jury found Azulphar guilty of distribution of controlled substances, conspiracy to distribute and possess with intent to distribute a controlled substance, and possession with intent to distribute a controlled substance.
The verdict followed a four-day trial examining evidence of Azulphar's alleged involvement in methamphetamine distribution. Azulphar, who also goes by the alias “T,” faces significant penalties under federal law. He will await sentencing.
