DCG High School Decision Day Class of 2026

DCG High School held its inaugural Decision Day this week, gathering graduating seniors to publicly announce their post-graduation plans.

Students shared whether they will attend four-year colleges, enter the military, join the workforce, or pursue other paths. Dr. Scott Blum, superintendent, and Principal Matthew Blackmore addressed the class. Students participated in an all-class photo and recorded video declarations of their next steps.

Hy-Vee in Grimes and the DCG Booster Club supported the event. School officials plan to make Decision Day an annual tradition for future graduating classes.

The Class of 2026 will graduate later this spring.
