Peak winds of 25-35 mph with gusts up to 45 mph are possible, with a potential for winds reaching 58 to 73 mph. Significant damage to roofing, siding, porches, and sheds is anticipated. Unanchored mobile homes may be damaged, and unsecured objects could become dangerous projectiles. Flooding could impact structures and create hazardous driving conditions. Be prepared for potential evacuations and rescues. Heed all flood watches and warnings.
The NWS also indicates a favorable situation for several tornadoes, with a few possibly intense. Listen for tornado watches and warnings. If a tornado warning is issued, shelter quickly.
