Residents in Eastern Pondera, Eastern Teton, Cascade County below 5000ft, Judith Basin County and Judith Gap, and Meagher County Valleys should prepare for heavy, wet snow. A Winter Storm Warning has been issued by the National Weather Service in Great Falls, MT, effective immediately until 6:00 AM MDT on Monday, October 12.

Total snow accumulations are expected to be between 7 and 14 inches, with wind gusts as high as 35 mph. Travel could become very difficult. The combination of gusty winds and heavy, wet snow may lead to downed tree branches and isolated power outages.

If travel is essential, carry an extra flashlight, food, and water in your vehicle. For the latest road conditions, dial 511. Snowfall on roadways, especially at lower elevations, is anticipated primarily from this evening through late morning.
