NASHVILLE, Tenn. — On Thursday, three men face execution by lethal injection in separate facilities across Tennessee, Alabama, and Oklahoma. This simultaneous scheduling represents an uncommon occurrence of multiple state-level executions on a single day in the United States. Authorities in Tennessee, Alabama, and Oklahoma each announced their respective execution dates for the individuals. Each state uses lethal injection as its method of capital punishment. This specific alignment of execution schedules across different states happens infrequently.
