Winter Weather Advisory Issued: Slippery Roads Expected Sunday Night Through Monday

A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect for Golden Valley, Musselshell, and Northern Stillwater from Sunday evening until Monday midday, with up to 4 inches of wet snow and slippery road conditions expected.

Residents in Golden Valley, Musselshell, and Northern Stillwater counties should prepare for slippery road conditions as a Winter Weather Advisory has been issued. The advisory, issued by the National Weather Service (NWS) Billings MT, is in effect from 6 PM Sunday, October 10th, until noon MDT on Monday, October 11th.

Periods of wet snow are expected, with total accumulations of up to 4 inches. Winds are also forecast to gust as high as 30 mph. The NWS advises that the hazardous conditions will impact the Monday morning commute.

Highest snow accumulations are anticipated along higher hills within the affected areas. Drivers are urged to slow down and use caution while traveling. For the latest road conditions, residents can call 511.
