A Winter Weather Advisory has been issued for Golden Valley, Musselshell, and Northern Stillwater, effective tonight through Monday, with up to 4 inches of wet snow and difficult travel conditions expected. Motorists should slow down and use caution; call 5-1-1 for road conditions.
Residents in Golden Valley, Musselshell, and Northern Stillwater counties should prepare for periods of wet snow and difficult travel conditions beginning tonight, Sunday, October 10th. The National Weather Service (NWS) in Billings has issued a Winter Weather Advisory, effective from 6 PM MDT tonight until 12 PM MDT on Monday, October 11th.
Up to 4 inches of total snow accumulation is expected, with winds gusting as high as 30 mph. These conditions may lead to slushy or snowy roads and poor visibility, particularly impacting travel on US-87 over the Bull Mountains. Higher elevations are anticipated to receive the most significant snowfall.
The NWS advises motorists to slow down and use caution while traveling. Expect areas of poor visibility. For the latest road conditions, dial 5-1-1.
