Unauthorized Hydrant Flushing Taints Three Rivers Water

A private enterprise flushed fire hydrants without authorization in Three Rivers on Tuesday morning, causing rusty water to flow through residents' taps around 11 a.m.

City officials identified the unauthorized flushing as the source of the problem. Residents with prolonged discoloration should contact the Department of Public Services at 273-1845.
