Public Arts Board Meetings 5:30 p.m. Third Wednesday of Every Month as noticed City Hall Council Chambers Members Members serve 3-year terms. Mission The mission of the Public Arts Board is to prepare a public art policy in order to develop a distinctive sense of place, enhance public experience and exposure to culture through various forms of art, enhance the appearance of public facilities and places and improve the artistic and cultural environment of the City for its citizens. * Appointed by Seminole County, non-voting. "Enjoy our championship 18-hole golf course Starting November 25, 2025, the Golf Course will be open on Mondays for the season. Highlights Located just a pleasant unhurried hour's drive from Fort Myers or West Palm Beach, and merely minutes away from U.S. Highway 27, is the Clewiston Golf Course, a beautifully maintained championship 18-hole golf course that is open to the public. Today, golfers can enjoy the same beautiful scenery and challenges that golfers experienced in the 1930s. Designed by Stiles and Van Kleeck, the course is a classic and a joy to play. Amenities such as restaurants or lodging at the historic Clewiston Inn or other well-known chain motels are less than ten minutes away. This is a favorite course for many fishermen as they can enjoy the renowned bass fishing on Lake Okeechobee and still have time to enjoy a relaxing game of golf with their friends all in one day. U.S. Sugar employees raised $5,000 on September 6, 2025, in memory of Jodi Rush, a longtime U.S. Sugar employee and AVID Golfer, at their Annual Employee Golf Tournament held a the Clewiston Golf Course. The proceeds will go to the Junior Golf Program at the Clewiston Golf Course. On behalf of the City of Clewiston, Thank You to ALL the U.S. Sugar employees."

Youth Golf League

"Clewiston Golf Course is excited to introduce the new Youth Golf League, a competitive program designed to help young golfers learn the game and develop their skills at an early age. The league is open to youth in the 17U, 13U, and 9U divisions. The season runs from October through January at Clewiston Golf Course. Registration is $60 per golfer and includes instruction, range access, a shirt, and a hat. Registration is open now, but space is limited. The registration deadline is September 23, 2026.
