City Watercolor Map

City Watercolor Map Background On August 21, 2023, the City Council adopted Resolution No. 4358-23 approving a recommendation from the Public Art Board to commission artist Caryn Dahm to design a watercolor map. The watercolor map is a map of the City and important local landmarks, with a total of around forty small illustrations, representing elements that define the character and the identity of the City. Ms. Dahm has worked diligently with the Public Arts Board to craft the final design and is officially presenting the Oviedo watercolor map to the City Council. The watercolor map will be displayed at a location in City Hall. In the future, the Public Art Board may use the design to be shown in merchandise to be sold to support the Public Art Fund. On July 15, 2024, the watercolor map was presented to the City Council during the presentation portion of the Regular Agenda Meeting and will be used for future projects.
