A Wind Advisory has been issued for multiple areas in Oregon and Washington, with gusts up to 55 mph expected from Friday morning through Friday night, potentially causing driving difficulties, unsecured objects to blow around, and power outages.
Residents in the Eastern Columbia River Gorge of Oregon and Washington, Lower Columbia Basin of Oregon, Foothills of the Northern Blue Mountains of Oregon, Foothills of the Southern Blue Mountains of Oregon, North Central Oregon, Yakima Valley, and Simcoe Highlands should prepare for strong winds.
The National Weather Service (NWS) Pendleton has issued a Wind Advisory effective from Friday, September 25, at 8:00 AM PDT until 11:00 PM PDT. Southwest winds of 20 to 30 mph with gusts reaching up to 45 to 55 mph are expected.
