Gibsonton Voters Get New Districts June 2026
Gibsonton residents will vote in new precincts and districts starting in early June 2026 following redistricting at state and local levels.
The Hillsborough County Board of County Commissioners, Hillsborough County School Board, and Florida Legislature last redrawn district boundaries in 2022 after the U.S. Census. Governor DeSantis called a special legislative session in April 2026 to redraw congressional districts. The governor signed the new congressional redistricting law on May 4, 2026.
The Hillsborough County Supervisor of Elections will update precinct lines, voter registration records, and publish maps in early June. Interactive maps showing the new congressional districts are available online.
The City of Tampa separately redraws its four single-member districts every four years. More information on Tampa's redistricting is available on the Tampa City Council Redistricting (2026) webpage.
