Treasurer's Office in Upper County Tax Collection
Treasurer's Office offers tax payment collection in Upper County Kittitas County, WA - 10/01/2026 - Treasurer's Office offers tax payment collection in Upper County The Kittitas County Treasurer's Office is pleased to announce that, during the month of October, a staff member will be in Upper County accepting property tax payments at the Kittitas County Upper District Court offices. Beginning Friday, October 2nd, payments can be made on Tuesday and Friday afternoons from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm in the Upper District Court Building at 700 E 1st Street, Cle Elum WA. This schedule will continue through Friday, October 30th. Payments made by cash, check, money order, credit card, or debit card will be accepted at this location. It is our hope that this will provide easier access for making tax payments to all county residents. To make paying taxes easier, the Kittitas County Treasurer provides several ways for property owners to pay their taxes quickly and conveniently. Online through your bank online services. Online through paymybills.link/kittitas or by calling Point and Pay directly at (866) 279-1721. Please note that a 2.5% credit card fee, a $3.95 debit card fee, and a $2.00 echeck fee will be charged for this service. By mail- Taxpayers should include their tax statement and write the property tax account number on their check or money order. Cash should not be sent through the mail. In person at the Treasurer's Office in the Kittitas County Courthouse, 205 W 5th Ave Suite 102, Ellensburg. Office Hours are Monday-Thursday 9:00 am-4:00 pm, and Friday 9:00 am-3:00 pm. Self Managed Payments- You can now manage your own account and payment schedule through the Treasurer's website Kittitas County Treasurer | Payments A black drop box is located outside of the Courthouse on the left side of the driveway for easy drive through access. DO NOT use the white ballot box for tax payments. A mail slot is located inside the Courthouse next to the Treasurer's doorway. Pacific County Commissioners to Hold Regular Meetings Every First and Third Wednesday
Regular Board Meetings are held on the first and third Wednesday of each month at 10:00 AM in the Commissioner's Hearing Room, located at 300 Memorial Drive, South Bend, WA. Agendas are posted prior to the meetings. Special meetings may be called as needed.

Understanding the Election of Unknown County Commissioners
The Board consists of three members elected at-large for four-year terms. One Commissioner is elected to represent each of the three Commissioner Districts, but are elected by the county as a whole. Each year, one member of the Board is selected as the Chair. The Chair presides over the Board's official meetings and acts as the Board's spokesperson.

Weekly Fuel Run
Fuel service runs now occur on the second and fourth Monday of each month when the ferry transports gasoline and propane fuel tankers to and from Anderson Island to restock fuel and propane for purchase on the island. The following departures are canceled: 9:30 a.m. from Steilacoom, 11:10 a.m. from Anderson Island, and 11:30 a.m. from Ketron Island. Please note, the ferry will stop at Ketron after the 12:45 p.m. departure from Anderson Island.

This event will feature fall prevention tips, exercise demonstrations, fun presentations about fall prevention, community resources, giveaways, and more! This event is open to the public even for those without a YMCA membership (they will need to show ID and sign a waiver at the front desk when entering the building). Attend this event to learn that you have the power to prevent a fall for yourself, your family members, and your clients. Falls are not a natural part of aging. The good news is that most falls can be prevented. The Pierce County ADRC will provide a vendor resource table at this event, so we hope to see you there!
