City Submits Water Service Line Inventory
The City of Luverne has submitted a full water service line inventory as required by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). If your property’s service line material is lead or galvanized, you will receive a letter from us. If your service line is unknown, the City is continuing to investigate. The Water Department will be “potholing” the unknown areas, which requires digging a hole in the boulevard to view the service line. All holes will be filled in and returned to their original condition. This project will continue until all inventory is complete. Visit www.cityofluverne.org/publicnotices to view the full service line inventory and for more information about identifying unknown service line material and replacement plans.
