Hillsboro Beach Water Dept. Flushes Mains, Impacts Residents

The Town of Hillsboro Beach Water Department began its annual water main flushing program Monday, April 15, 2024. The two-week procedure aims to maintain water quality and ensure the reliability of the town's water distribution system.

Residents may notice temporary discoloration or cloudiness in their tap water during the flushing. The department advises running faucets until the water clears if this occurs.

This annual maintenance safeguards the water supply and prevents issues in the aging infrastructure, ensuring water remains safe and high quality for residents.
