Fort Lauderdale Courthouse Wings Close Due to Water & AC Failures

Chief Judge Carol-Lisa Phillips closed the North and East Wings of the Fort Lauderdale courthouse on June 10 due to water damage and air conditioning failures.
The West Wing remains open. Residents can also access courthouse services at regional facilities in Hollywood, Plantation, and Deerfield Beach.
The City of Fort Lauderdale and Broward County are working to repair the affected wings.
