The Campbell Foundation Announces Grant Awards Totaling $1,050,000 at its 23rd Annual Brunch FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. (November 19, 2018) – The Campbell Foundation, a Fort Lauderdale-based organization funding HIV/AIDS research, awarded grants totaling $1,050,000 at its 23rd Annual Brunch held November 18th at Pier Sixty-Six Hotel & Marina. The Foundation’s grants represent seed money and sometimes full funding to cutting-edge researchers. Over the past 23 years, the Campbell Foundation has awarded nearly $11 million in grant dollars. At the brunch, the Foundation presented its annual Champion Award to long-time supporter Andy Roose. Andy expressed his gratitude to the Foundation for its work funding HIV/AIDS research. “We are proud to support these researchers with their innovative projects,” said Ken Meeks, executive director of The Campbell Foundation. “Their work holds the promise of eradicating or better treating HIV/AIDS.”
