Temple Terrace Invites Community Input for School Support Committee Vacancy

Temple Terrace seeks community involvement for its School Support Committee, which works to enhance the educational environment for children in the city. The committee currently has one member vacancy, offering residents an opportunity to directly contribute to local education.

The School Support Committee leverages the knowledge and insight of citizens to collaborate with the Mayor and City Council, Hillsborough District schools, parents, and school-based interest groups. This collaborative approach aims to improve schools and the learning experiences for Temple Terrace children.

Current members serving on the committee include Karen Adler, who holds the position of Vice Chair, along with Mike Segrest, Giancarlo DiSalvo, Laura Sabella, Megan McLemore, and Jessica Ferguson. These individuals volunteer their time to address educational matters within the community.

The committee holds its meetings monthly on the fourth Monday at 4 pm in the City Council Conference Room. Residents interested in serving must live in Temple Terrace and do so without pay. Financial disclosure is not required for these positions.
