New Hazardous Waste Collection Program in Auburndale

Auburndale will host a New Hazardous Waste Collection Program on January 15, 2027. The event will take place at 12:00 AM at the North Central Landfill's Household Hazardous Waste Facility, located at 5 Environmental Loop South.

This program is designed for Polk County businesses that produce less than 220 pounds of hazardous waste per month. These businesses can properly dispose of or recycle their waste materials through an appointment-only system. Accepted waste materials include paint, solvents, waste ink, fluorescent lamps, used oil, and antifreeze.
