Hazardous Waste Collection Program Available for Small Businesses in Auburndale

Auburndale small businesses can participate in a Hazardous Waste Collection Program on January 20, 2027. The program, categorized as an "other" event, will take place at the North Central Landfill's Household Hazardous Waste Facility, located at 5 Environmental Loop South. The event begins at 12:00 AM.

This program is designed for Polk County businesses that generate less than 220 pounds of hazardous waste per month, offering a method for proper disposal and recycling. Waste materials accepted include paint, solvents, waste ink, fluorescent lamps, used oil, antifreeze, and other hazardous waste. Businesses interested in participating must complete a registration form and an inventory sheet. An onsite inspection may be required before participation in the program.
