The Town of Hillsboro Beach adopted a Title VI Program Plan on July 14, 2026, committing to provide equitable access to municipal programs and activities regardless of race, color, national origin, age, disability, or family and religious status.
The plan assures the Florida Department of Transportation that the town will not discriminate against or retaliate against residents in any agency-run program. It stems from Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Civil Rights Restoration Act of 1987, and the Florida Civil Rights Act of 1992.
Residents who believe they experienced discrimination in Broward County Transit services can file a complaint using the Title VI Complaint Form, available online. The form must be completed and mailed to the Broward County Transit Division, Attention: Transit Manager – Compliance, 1 North University Drive, Suite 3100A, Plantation, FL 33324.
For assistance, residents can call the Title VI Coordinator at 954-357-8481. The TTY number is 954-357-8302.
