Income-qualified residents living with Durango city limits can automatically qualify for this program if approved for either the Utility Refund or Food Tax Rebate program, or both.This program will cover 90% of the cost of curbside compost collection for approved applicants. Applicants will be responsible to pay for the remaining 10% of their compost service subscription costs on a monthly basis.How It WorksVisit the Utility Refund and Food Tax Rebate web page for more information and to submit an application for one or both of those programs.After submitting and being approved for either of those programs, complete this Discounted Compost Service Program sign-up form.Visit Table to Farm Compost to sign-up for service, and enter the discount code provided through the program sign-up form (link above).IMPORTANT NOTES ON CONTINUING SERVICE:Discounts are valid through June 30 of the following year you sign-up.To continue receiving the discount, residents must re-apply for the Utility Refund and/or Food Tax Rebate program each year (repeat step 1 above each year). Residents continuing service do not have to redo steps 2 or 3 above. Your Table to Farm Compost service will be automatically cross-referenced based on your Utility Refund and/or Food Tax Rebate application for that year.If you are no longer eligible for the Utility Refund and/or Food Tax Rebate or you do not complete an application for the year, it is your responsibility to contact Table to Farm regarding your service. Otherwise, your service will continue at the standard non-discount rate.
