A Dense Fog Advisory is in effect until 11 AM PDT today for areas including the North Cascades foothills, Island County, and parts of Western Whatcom, Skagit, and Snohomish Counties, leading to hazardous driving conditions.

A Dense Fog Advisory has been issued by the National Weather Service (NWS) in Seattle, WA, effective immediately until 11:00 AM PDT today, October 4th. This advisory impacts drivers in the Foothills and Valleys of the North Cascades, Island County, Lowlands of Western Skagit and Northwestern Snohomish Counties, Lowlands of Western Whatcom County, Downtown Everett/Marysville Area, and the Shoreline/Lynnwood/South Everett Area.

Visibility is reported at one-quarter mile or less due to dense fog. These conditions could make driving hazardous. The NWS advises all drivers to slow down, use their headlights, and leave plenty of distance between their vehicle and others. The advisory is set to expire at 11:00 AM PDT this morning.
