Fayette County EMS Captain Wins Georgia Educator Award
Captain Jason Anderson of Fayette County Emergency Medical Services received the Georgia EMS Educator of the Year award at the GEMSA Awards Banquet in March.
The Georgia EMS Association recognized Anderson for training emergency medical providers and strengthening EMS education across the state. His programs have set standards that other departments throughout Georgia have adopted.
Assistant Chief Scott Roberts said Anderson's mentorship and teaching elevated care standards across the state.
Anderson credited his instructional staff in accepting the award. "This recognition reflects the dedication of the instructional staff who stand beside me," he said. "Their commitment to high standards and student success elevates everything we do."
