Please review the TCEQ boil water notice tips for guidance on how to proceed until the notice is lifted. Water samples have been submitted to Tarrant County Public Health. Results typically return within 24 to 48 hours and will determine when the notice can be lifted. PLEASE NOTE: This is a citywide notice. If you are a Saginaw resident who receives water service from the City of Saginaw/you live within city limits, this applies to you. Water distribution has resumed behind Saginaw City Hall (333 W McLeroy Blvd) on May 2, beginning at 8 AM and will continue until the notice is lifted. This is available for Saginaw residents in need of water. We will continue to share updates as they become available. --- WATER MAIN BREAK UPDATE 5/1 1:35 PM: Repairs have been completed on the water main break. Samples have been sent to Tarrant County Public Health. Results typically come back within 24 to 48 hours and will determine whether the boil water notice can be lifted. At this time, the boil water notice remains in effect. Please review the TCEQ boil water notice tips for guidance on how to proceed until the notice is lifted. WATER PICKUP UPDATE – May 1, 8:15 PM Water bottle distribution has ended for tonight. We will resume at Saginaw City Hall (333 W McLeroy Blvd) tomorrow, May 2, from 8 AM to 12 PM for Saginaw residents in need of water. ---UPDATE 5/1 12:40 PM: Repairs are nearly complete. Once finished, crews will flush the lines and collect a sample, which will be sent to Tarrant County Public Health. Results usually come back 24 to 48 hours, and will determine whether the boil water notice can be lifted. We will continue to share updates as they become available.---WATER SERVICE UPDATE 5/1 6 AM: A Boil Water Notice for Saginaw Public Water Systems is in effect. Please see the attachment for more information. We will continue to provide updates as we receive them. ---🚨WATER SERVICE UPDATE - May 1, 2026🚨 As crews continue working to repair the water main break, water system pressure will be reduced across the entire city. All residents will experience impacts, including low water pressure or a temporary loss of water service. This step is necessary to safely complete the repair, and Public Works has exhausted all other repair options leading to this action. Work is expected to take approximately 4 to 6 hours (from 3:00 AM). Because of the system-wide pressure drop, additional water quality precautions may be required once service is restored. If so, we will provide clear instructions. If you wake up and have no water, bottled water is be available for pickup behind Saginaw City Hall (333 W McLeroy Blvd). We will continue sharing updates through all available communication channels, including the city website, social media, and emergency alerts. We appreciate your patience as crews work to restore service as quickly and safely as possible. ---WATER MAIN BREAK UPDATE | April 30, 5:45 PM Due to ongoing work, some residents may experience a temporary loss of water service. If you are a Saginaw resident currently without water, bottled water will be available for pickup behind Saginaw City Hall (333 W McLeroy Blvd) now until 8:15 PM (4/30). We will continue to share updates on this situation through our social media platforms and website.Please note: There is no boil water notice in effect. We appreciate your patience and apologize for the inconvenience. ---UPDATE 4/30 1:40 PM: Crews are still working on repairs. Locations without water: Kay Ln, Worthy St, 287 from N Green St to Minton Rd, 287 and E McLeroy Blvd to Fairmount St, W McLeroy to Bluebonnet St. Crews have had to shut off water in these areas as part of the repairs. We will continue to share updates as we receive them.---UPDATE 4/30 9:35 AM: Public Works crews are actively working to stop the water leak. A list of areas in Saginaw currently without water will be shared soon.UPDATE 4/30 10 AM: The Saginaw Library and Senior Center are closed for the remainder of the day (4/30) due to the ongoing water main break. Without water service, restroom facilities are unavailable for both patrons and staff. --- WATER MAIN BREAK ALERT: A 16 inch water line at McLeroy Blvd and Saginaw Blvd has been hit by a contractor. Crews are on scene addressing the situation. To those affected, please stay tuned for updates. If you can, please avoid driving in this area due to the excessive water on the surrounding road.
