City Hall, the Senior Center, and the Chelsea Public Library will be closed on Monday, May 25, in observance of Memorial Day. In addition, the following services will be affected: Residential parking permit enforcement, which is suspended Monday, at 12 a.m., until Tuesday, May 26, at 12 a.m. Trash & recycling collection, which will not take place Monday, May 25; a one-day delay will be in effect for the remainder of the week. Street sweeping, which will be suspended on the holiday. City Online services  remain accessible, 24/7. How to Honor Those Who have Fallen This Memorial Day The City of Chelsea Veterans Services Division will host a Memorial Day Ceremony at the Garden Cemetery at 10 a.m., followed by a procession to City Hall for a formal program at 11 a.m., and a luncheon at the Chelsea Senior Center at 12:30 p.m. The public is invited to join the City in honoring soldiers fallen in the line of duty.
