Matins (Orthros)

The beautiful morning service of Matins is served weekly, rich with hymns, readings from the Psalms and Gospel and the beautiful canon celebrating the saints and events commemorated for the day. A truly beautiful and reverent way to prepare to receive the Divine Mysteries in the following Liturgy.

During Matins Confessions are heard only by appointment for those travelling a distance of greater than 45 minutes from the Church. All other members of the community are encouraged to utilize the numerous other times that Confession is available throughout the week.
