The Village is hosting a free compost giveaway event for Arlington Heights residents on Saturday, April 11th, 9-11 a.m. at the Public Works Building, 222 N. Ridge Ave. Bring your own 5-gallon bucket for compost.  While you're there, you can pick up your pre-ordered Home Composter Bin.  Home Composter Bins hold six to eight 30-gallon bags of yard material and are made of 100% recycled plastic. Quantities are limited.  Pre-order your bin by calling Village Hall at 847-368-5500.
