Central District NextGen Leader Retreat
About this Event
The NextGen Leaders Retreat is a weekend designed to reset your soul and strengthen your leadership. This is space to be with Jesus, grow in community, and be refreshed through prayer, encouragement, and shared learning.
Together, we'll reflect on identity, spiritual formation, and what it means to lead as disciples first. Whether you are feeling full or running on empty, this retreat is an opportunity to breathe deep, reconnect with the Lord, and leave renewed for the season ahead.
Speaker, Jessie Cruickshank will be leading us through a powerful time of training and reflection centered on identity, spiritual formation, and the development journey.
Many of us want to know God and walk in His purposes, yet often struggle to feel confident in who we are and how we are called to live. Both of those begin with identity. Identity is not a blank slate where we invent ourselves, nor is it simply about becoming all we can be. Rather, true identity is discovered over a lifetime as we walk with God and grow in understanding.
In this training, Jessie will explore how brain development shapes the way we understand both God and ourselves. We'll look at how human development helps us grasp more of God's nature and, in turn, our own identity. These insights can help us become healthier parents, disciplemakers, ministers, and friends.
Come expectant for a meaningful weekend of rest, growth, prayer, and connection with other NextGen leaders. Please note that childcare is not available at this retreat. Please make prior arrangements for your children so you can arrive free from distractions and take full advantage of this training experience.
