Country Singer Brian “Nashville” Duckworth Dies at 56 in Clarksburg

Brian Duckworth, a country music singer known as “Nashville,” died Monday at his Clarksburg, West Virginia, home. He was 56.

Duckworth performed with his family band, Taylor Made, alongside his sister Wendy Williams and brother Greg Duckworth. The group built a dedicated following that reached beyond West Virginia.

Taylor Made gained national recognition in 2012 when MusicRow named them Independent Artist of the Year. The band later opened for artists including Miranda Lambert, Charlie Daniels and Dierks Bentley.

Throughout his music career, Duckworth worked as a dump truck driver for Wolfe’s Excavating. His colleagues called him the “Truck Boss.”

He is survived by his wife of 15 years, Tina Scheuvront Duckworth, six children and four grandchildren.
