NAPLES, Fla. — Florida Citizens Alliance (FLCA), a non-profit whose mission is to provide real solutions that maximize student potential and protect children in Florida, will host an A.I. in Education Policy, Family and Faith Symposium on October 24, at New Hope Ministries in Naples from 5 to 8 p.m. The symposium will examine artificial intelligence’s growing role in classrooms and policymaking, alongside faith-based perspectives on its impact. Attendees will explore how technology shapes education’s future and its moral, civic and parental implications. Speakers include A.I. expert Joe Allen, America’s Future Executive Director Mary Flynn O’Neill, education policy expert Erika Donalds, DeSantis Faith and Community Initiative representative Dylan Fisher, Stand for Health Freedom’s Scott Kiley, actor and author Braeden Sorbo, Florida House Representative Doug Bankson, and Lee County School Board member Sam Fisher. A light meal will be provided, and attendees can connect with vendors, community leaders, and organizations focused on preserving parental rights and faith-based values in education. Tickets cost $24.99, with vendor tables and sponsorships available. “Our goal is to ensure artificial intelligence enhances learning without compromising liberty, faith or family values,” said Keith Flaugh, FLCA co-founder and CEO. “This symposium unites educators, parents, and faith leaders to safeguard our children’s future in a rapidly evolving digital world.” The event is part of a statewide series of symposiums that will take place across Florida, with the next one scheduled for Sarasota in November. FLCA is also actively working with lawmakers to advance legislative changes that address parental concerns related to artificial intelligence in education, ensuring policy keeps pace with technology while upholding family and faith-based values. The symposium supports FLCA’s mission to raise awareness about artificial intelligence’s impact on education and advocate for legislative and community solutions prioritizing children. Partnering organizations include America’s Future, Christian Family Coalition, Citizens Defending Freedom, CSPOA, Defend Florida, Florida Republican Assembly, Informed Church, Liberty Sentinel, Moms for America, Proclaiming Justice to the Nations, The Salt and Light Council, Stand for Health Freedom, Watchmen Action, We Impact the Nation, Winter Haven 912, and more.
